SelenoExcell® High Selenium Yeast 1200 is a selenium-enriched yeast and is the closest food form of selenium available as an ingredient. SelenoExcell is derived from the cultivation of the Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast strain. Through the fermentation process the selenium enters into the cell wall, replaces sulphur and becomes part of the yeast cell creating an organic mineral.

Fermented with the Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast strain to contain 21 selenium compounds, including three known natural food forms of selenium (selenomethionine, selenocysteine and

methyl-selenocysteine) which directly feed the metabolic system. SelenoExcell High Selenium Yeast 1200 is a 100% organically bound form of selenium.

Selenium-enriched yeast has shown to be safer, more stable, more absorbent, and less polluting than inorganic selenium. Close to 90% of selenium yeast is absorbed making it far superior to inorganic forms of selenium.
